ORGANIZATIONS

Washington Office on Latin America - WOLA is a leading research and advocacy organization advancing human rights in the Americas, envisioning a future where public policies protect human rights and recognize human dignity, and where justice overcomes violence.

Latin American Relief Fund - Since its inception in 2018, The Latin American Relief Fund has raised nearly $500,000 to support migrants and refugees in Mexico. With no paid staff and little overhead, 95% of the donations the Fund receives go directly to providing services for migrants at Albergue ABBA and other migrant relief organizations.

Border Angels - Border Angels was established in 1986 and initially focused on helping farmworker migrants that were living in the canyons of North San Diego County. Since then, their work has expanded to include humanitarian work along the entire US-Mexico border.

No More Deaths - The mission of No More Deaths is to end death and suffering in the Mexico–US borderlands through civil initiative: people of conscience working openly and in community to uphold fundamental human rights. They work in the remote corridors into which migration has been pushed, where people are walking 30 to 80 miles. Volunteers hike the trails and leave water, food, socks, blankets, and other supplies. Under the direction of their medical team, volunteers provide emergency first-aid treatment to individuals in distress.

American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) - AFSC works with communities worldwide to challenge injustice and build conditions for lasting peace. Their Migration Justice in Latin America and the Caribbean Program works in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Mexico. They work to promote a fair, dignified human migration system that responds to the needs of migrants and people who have been forcibly displaced.
