ORGANIZATIONS & SITES

American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) - The AAP was founded in 1930 by 35 pediatricians to serve as an independent forum to address children's health needs. At that time, the idea that children had unique developmental and health needs was new. Practices that are now standard preventative care (i.e. immunization, regular health exams) were only just beginning to change the custom of treating children as "miniature adults".

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) - CDC puts science into action to help children stay healthy so they can grow and learn; to help families, businesses, and communities fight disease and stay strong; and to protect the public's health.

Vaccine Education Center - The Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia provides complete, up-to-date and reliable information about vaccines across the lifespan.

Vaccineinformation.org - For parents and people of all ages, Vaccineinformation.org provide accurate and factual information about vaccines and the diseases they prevent.

Vaccine Confidence Project - The VCP was established in 2010 by Professor Heidi Larson at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to better understand growing vaccine skepticism around the world. It provides decision-makers with
global vaccine confidence insights to support policy and intervention design, and reduce vaccine inequalities.

Immunize.org (Immunization Action Coalition) - Immunize.org works to increase immunization rates and prevent disease through its practical educational materials designed to enhance the quality and safety of immunization services.

National Network of Immunization Coalitions - A project of Immunize.org, the Network The Network offers multiple channels for communication among local, state, regional, national and international immunization coalitions and promotes immunization coalition
activities, offers resources of importance to the network, and provides an interactive searchable online database of local, state, regional, national, and international immunization coalitions.

Vaccine Hesitancy Guide - The Vaccine Hesitancy Guide was developed by a team of researchers out of the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy with clinicians from across Canada. It presents advice, scripts, and resources to help navigate conversations about COVID-19 vaccines with hesitant patients.

The Anti-Vaxx Playbook - Created by the Center for Countering Digital Hate, the playbook is a report that exposes the tactics, messages and social media strategies of the anti-vaccine movement and explains how health experts, the public, tech giants and legislators can counter the anti-vaccine narrative.

Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) - SOPHE supports leaders in health education and promotion to advance healthy and equitable communities across the globe.

Public Health Foundation - Since 1970, PHF has developed effective resources, tools, information, and training for health agencies, organizations, and individuals to help improve performance and community health outcomes.

Science-Based Medicine - Science-Based Medicine is dedicated to evaluating medical treatments and products of interest to the public in a scientific light, and promoting the highest standards and traditions of science in health care.

Voices for Vaccines - Voices for Vaccines™ is a family-led organization that serves as a catalyst to spark positive peer-to-peer conversations about vaccines and the diseases they prevent by supporting communities, building networks, and developing fact-based content that enables parents to make healthy, informed decisions about vaccination for their children and their communities.

History of Vaccines - The History of Vaccines is the College of Physicians of Philadelphia’s award-winning website that provides indepth information on the development, use, and delivery of vaccines within a historical context.
