THE VOW FROM HIROSHIMA is an intimate portrait of Setsuko Thurlow, an 85-year-old survivor of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima and a passionate campaigner for the abolition of nuclear weapons. Her moving personal story and history of activism is told through the lens of her growing friendship with a second generation survivor, Mitchie Takeuchi.

Bullfrog Communities is now booking screening dates for THE VOW FROM HIROSHIMA Summer Screening Tour! Dates available through the end of August, which will coincide with commemorations of the Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Filmmakers Susan Strickler and Mitchie Takeuchi will be available for in-person and virtual screening appearances, schedules permitting.
